You have always bought rakhi online or offline to send it to your brother(s) perhaps living in different cities of India. This year if you want to send rakhi to Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata or any other part of India, look no further than a handmade rakhi.
Your brother would get excited to see a rakhi thread exclusively made by his sister. Would you mind adding to his zest? Whether he is near or far, send him a handmade rakhi to twinkle his eyes with cheer.
Here we are going to tell you how to make resham rakhi at home, so keep reading……
Things you need: Embroidery floss or resham, Scissors
Method:
1- Cut a 24-inch length of resham or floss from 3 different shades.
2- Combine & tie the strings so they could be easier to hold.
3- Hold the one end of the threads and tie or tape the other end to a table.
4- Twist the threads as shown in the picture.
5- Now colors will get closer to each other.
6- Keep twisting until the knot begins to kink a bit.
7- Bring the both ends where the string will twist on its own.
8- Smooth out the kinks using your hands.
9- Knot the both ends and trim from the edges.
10- Now you’re done with your colorful simple but stunning rakhi!
Send this rakhi to your brother in India or anywhere else to see his eyes twinkling with sheer happiness that you put your thoughts and created a rakhi for him!
